Student of the week GKR I trained GKR for a bit, it was fun, but I cant seem to restrict myself to just one appraoch anymore. So back to Bujutsu I went.
Gasshuku 11.06.94 A certificate form the last gasshuku I attended in Namibia before we moved.
1st Dan Ratification Fudoshin Ryu Bujutsu & Ronin Martial Arts My JKS Shodan has troubel uploading since it is in PDF format. This was my ratification for Fudoshin Ryu Bujutsu Inc. New Zealand and Ronin Martial Arts.
4th Kyu (Purple 2) & 2nd Kyu Universal Karate Do This was an interesting grade. When we migrated to living in South Africa and i was training TKD they excepted my grade as equavalent to the grade before brown. When we immigrated to New Zealand, it was accepted as the equavalent to below brown (which was purple belt) because the system here does not tab like the system in Namibia/South Africa did.

Bassai Dai Shoto-kai Karate Do Kata Its the kata , a different approach to the material , harmonies and loose power , much to learn from the fact it can even be done in tow such diverse ways . I dont understand much of Egamis work , but have a lot of respect for it , his essay on the karate punch is one of the most humble things I have ever read in martial arts
